Can you make a movie in 48 hours?

Local filmmaker wins competition

Ara from Beach Mornings on 103.1 Beach Radio, caught up with Emily Mayzes, about her recent achievement of winning the 4th annual 48-hour Film Competition.

The challenge is to create the best film within that timeframe.

The 48-Hour Film Competition is a worldwide competition, that runs in multiple cities around the world.

Winners of each division, get to compete with other winners throughout the globe for a shot at showing their production at the Cannes Film Festival.

Emily and her team's film Conceal, won several awards, including 1st place in the Okanagan.

They are now ready for their next 48-hour that will give them a shot at Cannes.
