Connecting with East Kootenay
There's another regular regional connection at Kelowna International Airport.
Daily flights between Cranbrook and YLW have returned after being off the books for a few years.
There are two flights a day Sunday to Friday and one on Saturdays.
Through Kelowna, Kootenay residents now have direct access to the Okanagan, as well as connecting travel to Vancouver Island via the Pacific Coastal network.
Besides travel for business or pleasure, this new route also provides an important connection for those seeking medical needs in Kelowna.
With the addition of Cranbrook, YLW will host up to seven daily departures for Pacific Coastal enhancing regional connectivity across BC.
In addition to this new route, Pacific Coastal has also increased service to Nanaimo providing greater access to Vancouver Island for Okanagan residents.
