Down The Lees are The LIZARD's Rockers of the Month

Post-noise rockers

Local trio Down The Lees are 104.7 The LIZARD's Rockers of the Month for October.

Laura Lee Schultz fronts the band and is the main creative presence with Andy Ashley on drums and Chris Carlson on bass.

Schultz has been writing and performing since emerging from Vancouver's Indie scene and has toured across Europe. Schultz then teamed up with Ashley and Carlson four years ago when they completed a song that had been in the hopper for some time: "Douse".

As The LIZARD's Rockers of the Month, the band has an interview on the morning radio show, airplay for their song, Douse, and this video here on Kelowna10.

The band is very proud to have secured Creative BC funding recently for a professional video production of their gig at Mary Irwin Theatre, called This Is What It Feels Like.

You can watch that on YouTube and the band also have special audio cassette and CD merch available.
