Freeze The Fall will Rock The Lake

Local band keeps making big strides

There's no slowing down for local rock outfit Freeze The Fall.

The young up and coming trio recently won the right to play this summer's Rock The Lake festival at Prospera Place. It will be the biggest stage they've ever played.

They, along with Rise Overrun, won the Battle of the Bands at Red Bird Brewing.

Freeze The Fall - Quinn Mitzel, Aria Becker and Jonah Goncalves - are known for their dark gothic sound with a Victorian aesthetic. They've also just won themselves a spot at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky in September.

Oh, and the band just wrapped up their Spring Frost tour of Western Canada, and are out with a a new track, a cover of Aurora's The Seed.
