Local brewing duo bringing more sparkle to Lakeshore

Another quality business will open as part of the new MOVALA residential/commercial development on Lakeshore Rd.

Britannia Brewing, which has one of its four BC locations in Lake Country, is expanding its Okanagan presence and hopes to open a new 2,700 sq ft hospitality venue in the Pandosy, Lower Mission neighbourhood in Spring 2027.

It will also feature a 750-square-foot, coastal-vibe patio facing Gyro Beach.

Co-owners Justin Fowler and Lloyd Kinney are both residents in Mission.

Britannia Brewing is an award-winning craft brewery established in 2014 and known for its British-style ales and lagers. Since opening its original brewery and tasting room in Steveston, the company has expanded to four locations in Lake Country, Vancouver, Ladner Village, and Steveston Village.

Britannia will add a new food and hospitality concept to MOVALA’s growing commercial mix, including Skå Spa, Old Money Barber, Chocolat Favoris, Jugo Juice, and Springbok Medical Spa.
