Popular local band Rise Overrun hits pause on live gigs

One year hiatus

Fans of up and coming Kelowna band Rise Overrun will have to wait a year to see them live again.

The successful five-member outfit wowed judges at Battle Of The Bands which then got them a place at this summer's Rock The Lake.

However, front man Slade Coffman is moving to Edinburgh, Scotland to study physics, but the plan is to keep recording new songs.

He and guitarist Alex Baldassare chatted with Kelowna10 recently about the future.
