Local honey winery bouncing back from not so sweet summer
Fall tourism season
It was a lousy second half of summer for tourism in the Okanagan with the wildfires and smoke turning people away.
But sister co-owners of Meadow Vista Honey Wines in Kelowna, Emily Vanderschee and Electra Logan, are now enjoying something of a 2026 renaissance.
After taking an 80 per cent hit in bookings in August, their business is now recording a fall surge, with scores of visitors on some days.
