Meet the ladies bringing choo-choo Christmas magic to Kelowna

Dreams do come true!

It would be hard to find two ladies that exude more enthusiasm for Christmas than local entrepreneurs Maegan Young and Andrea Strang.

Dressed in their train driver coats and matching caps, Young, with Purple Rhino Events, and Strang, with Juniper Tree Learning, chatted with Leslie from OV1039.

They were sitting in one the carriages of Kelowna's newest - albeit temporary- downtown transport option: The Dreamer Express.

It's billed as British Columbia’s first fully-electric, zero-emission, trackless outdoor passenger train experience , and it's stationed at the Delta Hotels Grand Okanagan Resort. Anyone who's been on the currently defunct Stanley Park Train in Vancouver will get the idea.

The 35-minute ride takes passengers along the waterfront and festive lighting attractions, with tickets starting at $39. That comes with all-day happy hour pricing at OAK + CRU Social Kitchen and Wine Bar.

Check out the video and enjoy the ride!
