Rise Overrun, Rock The Lake and "Rubber Ducks"

West Coast boys nail RTL gig

A bunch of young guys trying to make a breakthrough on the music scene: it's a common story, but for one local outfit, they've just been given a chance of a lifetime.

Rise Overrun were one of the two bands (along with Freeze The Fall) to win the recent Battle of the Bands contest at Red Bird Brewing.

The reward is a set at this summer's Rock The Lake festival at Prospera Place.

Check out the video and meet the lineup: Slade Coffman (lead vocalist/guitar); Hayden Burton ( guitar/producer); Connor Stoltz (drums); and Christian Davidson (lead guitar). Bass guitarist Alex Baldassare wasn't available for the video shoot - he had to go to work! That's how it is for the entire band: they're either working or students.

Perhaps Rock The Lake can help set them on their way to full-time stardom!

And their new single "Rubber Ducks" proves they have a presence.

Oh, and see how many cute little yellow duckies you can sport in the video!
