Kelowna has ambition
Ford Salon, the chic, luxury haircare and styling establishment in Kelowna's downtown is celebrating a year since it moved into its new space on the corner of Leon and Water.
The cool, classy layout on the site of the former garage was the vision of owner Colin Ford and designer Carla Bond-Fisher. Ford says Kelowna is growing in stature well beyond its lake and beach attractions and there's a certain big city ambition that has taken off.
Toby, from 103.1 Beach Radio, checked it out and learned why this modern salon would not look out of place in Manhattan, Paris or Milan.
